Beyond scholarships, we help residents prepare for employment by offering skill building activities, job readiness guidance, and community connections that lead to long term self sufficiency.
Our nonprofit provides scholarship opportunities and workforce support for individuals entering sober living across Southern Colorado. Scholarships can be used toward housing in our affiliated homes (NME Recovery Residence, LLC) or in other CARR-certified sober living programs throughout the region

Mission
To expand access to recovery housing and employment opportunities for individuals overcoming substance use disorder by providing scholarship opportunities, workforce development, and life-skills support that promote stability, dignity, and long-term independence.
Vision
A thriving Southern Colorado community where every person in recovery has the resources, employment opportunities, and supportive housing needed to sustain lasting wellness and achieve self sufficiency.
Our Philosophy
Recovery is about rebuilding every area of life. At NME, we focus on both housing stability and workforce readiness. We know that employment brings purpose and pride, so we encourage residents and scholarship recipients to obtain work within the first two weeks even if that means starting through a local temp service.
Through ongoing skill building and employment support, we help individuals strengthen their confidence, rebuild structure, and prepare for lifelong success.
